What to do if you test positive for 体育外围平台-19

你应该:

In line with Victorian Government recommendations, we strongly encourage you to recover at home for five days.

If your symptoms persist, you may still be infectious and should not come to campus until you are symptom free. If in doubt, please contact your GP and discuss with your course coordinator/program manager whether your study can be completed from home.

What to do if you are a 体育外围平台-19 contact

If you have been on contact with someone who has 体育外围平台-19, you should follow the Victorian Government’s checklist for 体育外围平台 contacts.

Coming to campus

Do not come to campus if you feel unwell.

If you are feeling unwell, DO NOT attend class or campus – instead, stay home, seek medical advice and consider getting a 体育外围平台-19 test. 体育外围平台-19 symptoms are listed on the Victoria Government website.

While on campus, you must:

  • Carry your student card at all times to enter buildings and rooms that are swipe card access only
  • Obey all safety signage
  • Practise good hygiene and wash your hands frequently
  • Follow the directives of 体育外围官网 staff

Face masks

体育外围官网 requires that masks be worn in some settings including nursing and allied health classes, consultations at the Bundoora Health Clinic and the City Myotherapy Clinic, and certain specialist teaching spaces.

If you have a valid medical exemption from wearing a mask, please contact 体育外围官网 Student Connect so you can be issued with a card to indicate your exemption.

While not mandatory, we strongly encourage you to wear a mask indoors and where you can't physically distance. This includes lecture theatres, classrooms and learning spaces.

If you don't have a mask or forget to bring one, you can get a free mask from Student Connect locations on campus.

  • City campus – Building 8, Level 4
  • Brunswick campus – Building 514, Level 1
  • Bundoora campus – Building 202, Level 2

Vaccination

While staff, students and visitors are no longer required to be vaccinated to attend any 体育外围官网 campus or facility, getting vaccinated is the best way to protect yourself and others from severe illness due to 体育外围平台-19. We strongly encourage our students and staff to vaccinate against 体育外围平台-19 and have made it easy to do so.

How we’re keeping campuses safe

We’re working hard to ensure our campuses and facilities are equipped to safely support on-campus activities and prevent the spread of 体育外围平台-19.

Our safety measures include:

  • Free masks and Rapid Antigen Tests (RATs) readily available to staff and students from Student Connect locations on campus.
  • Requirement to wear a mask in selected specialist teaching spaces and where physical contact is unavoidable.
  • Building ventilation and regular monitoring of air quality
  • Sanitising and cleaning aids, frequent professional cleaning of high-touch areas and regular cleaning for all spaces.
